- How many treatments will I need?
This depends on how many allergies you have and also what you want to focus on. We always check the ten basic items (see the article entitled ‘What is NAET?’ on this website), and treat any of those items first. Then we focus on other allergies. If someone just wanted to work on their cat allergy, it may only take one or two treatments to clear that, and I may never see them again. Other people have more allergies that need to be addressed, so they would need more treatments.

- Do I have to come on a regular basis?
NAET is a series of treatments. People often come once per week, but can come as often as three times per week, or as little as once per month (or less), whatever your time allows. If for some reason you take a break from treatments, we just pick up where you left off. You do not need to start over. If you are from out of town, we can accommodate treatments for you. Please call for details.

- What age of people can be treated?
We can treat any age, from newborns upward.

- Can I get treatments while I am pregnant?
Yes. In fact, your unborn child will benefit from the treatments.

- Do you use needles?
NAET does not require the use of needles. On occasion, needles may be included in the treatment, with the consent of the patient.

- How does NAET work?
NAET works by removing energy blockages in the body. These energy blockages affect the function of the organs and the immune system, causing your reactions. By removing these blockages, we remove your reactions and the body starts healing.

- Is NAET covered under Alberta Health Care?
Unfortunately, NAET is not covered under Alberta Health Care, but if you have private insurance that covers acupuncture, you can use this toward the cost of your treatments.

- Does NAET work for everyone?
Nothing works for everyone, but NAET works for the majority of people.

- When will I begin to see an improvement in my condition?
Most patients will begin to see improvements after six to eight treatments. Occasionally, people will start to see improvement after the very first treatment.

- Does NAET interfere with any other treatments?
NAET does not interfere with any medications or treatments. However, as the body heals, you may need to adjust any other treatments or medications. You must always work with your other health care providers when making any changes to your medications or care.

- Will my allergies return after the treatments?
NAET treatments are almost always permanent. Once you clear an allergy, it is expected that you will remain clear in the future.
