Exercise Rehabilitation

One of the most crucial parts of a successful treatment plan is what the patient does outside of the clinic. Motivating patients to become active in their care at Back & Body Health is essential to a full recovery. That is why exercise rehabilitation is a key element of our treatment, and why we focus on neuromuscular re-education through exercises such as:

  • Neutral pelvis and abdominal bracing training
  • Core stability exercises
  • Exercise ball program
  • Low back endurance training programs

We also introduce strength and conditioning exercises that are specific to the patient's particular condition (i.e. Shoulder, knee, ankle, or back injuries).

By guiding our patients through the exercises and creating an individualized program that can be done easily outside of the clinic, we strive to help the patient maintain the health and well-being they've achieved at Back & Body Health.

Workshops

Back & Body Health offers back care programs for athletic teams, corporate environments and/or specialized groups in the Calgary region.

When sleeping, place a pillow under your knees when lying on your back or between your knees when on your side in order to keep your spine relaxed and in a proper position.
