Adam Lockhart
BSc, Kin
Adam began coaching athletes in 2001, while studying Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. During that time, he worked with members of the junior and University football teams. After three years of coaching football players, Adam began working with members of Canada’s bobsled and skeleton teams. Throughout the following years, he developed programs to improve the national athletes' speed and strength. That work and dedication helped the national teams set several start records, as well as win medals at both the World Championships and the Olympics.
It was during this time that Adam met Doug Crashley and began helping him train hockey players at Crash Conditioning. His specialization in speed & agility training have proved to be a crucial part of the development of top hockey players.
Adam’s personal background is in track and field. He competed nationally in long jump, triple jump (as a junior) and in sprinting: 200m & 400m. Adam has also worked internationally with other bobsled/skeleton teams as well as with track and field and Olympic weightlifting athletes.
