A note to all who suffer with arthritis:
For many years I have suffered with arthritis throughout my entire body. The most debilitating is my lower back and left hip. I was one of the many who resorted to Celebrex and Viox. I found the effect of these drugs on the stomach were worse than the pain of arthritis.
I decided to try acupuncture and was amazed at the difference it made in my condition. Three years ago I was in agony with my hip. I had to use a walking stick for my daily walk, until I met Karen McInnis, in Calgary, and proceeded to have several treatments of acupuncture from her. For the past three years I have been seeing Karen McInnis intermittently for acupuncture treatments and have been free of pain in my hip.
Acupuncture is not only helpful in treating arthritis, but also can help other things. For example, I had a problem with my hand becoming almost useless which made it almost impossible for me to change gears in my car or hit a golf ball. I called Karen McInnis, my acupuncturist, for a treatment to see if she could help. Whatever the problem was, the result in my hand was 100% better after the acupuncture and has been ever since.
I have faith in acupuncture and would strongly recommend trying it for your arthritic problems.

Dear prospective clients,
I made an appointment with Karen McInnis after trying everything I could think of to treat my Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I had altered my diet and lifestyle, taken prescription medication and nothing alleviated the symptoms I had been experiencing for several years, and acutely for several months. It was at the point where my symptoms were affecting my day to day life. Karen treated my IBS and insomnia with acupuncture and the results have been amazing. After about 10 treatments of acupuncture, my symptoms completely disappeared. My digestive system is now functioning well and I no longer have trouble sleeping. It is so great to be back to normal and I am really thankful of the treatment I received. I feel that Karen really cares about her patients and takes time to listen so she can assess your problems. I am very pleased with the results of acupuncture treatment and have highly recommended Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with Karen to my family and friends.
